Bamboo trellis, also known as bamboos or bamboo plants, are a wonderful addition to your garden. If you want to add style and elegance to your garden, you can do so by planting a garden trellis made from bamboo. If you want to keep your bamboo trellis safe from the insects that may destroy it, you can also use a good insect repellent. Many people who have trellises for their bamboos don't use any sort of insect repellent, but it's good to be aware of the situation.

So far as using insect repellent, I have yet to find one that will work well on a bamboo trellis. However, there are some great insect repellents that do work quite well on bamboo trellises.

Some insect repellents are actually over the counter, while others are not. I would recommend that you read the instructions on the bottle of the insect repellent that you are considering before you begin using it on your bamboo trellises.

Those that are over the counter generally come in a spray bottle with the name of the bug bites on it. By spraying a little on the trellises after the insects are active, you can quickly remove the bugs from the trellises.

The other type of insect repellent is insect sprays. Insect sprays work by creating an odor that repels insects away.

For this purpose, you can also paint the tops of the bamboo plants black. This will help to make the bamboos more attractive and they will also help to repel insects.

The best insect repellent is by far the ones that have a citrus scent to them. These are the ones that you spray into the air, using the spray bottle that has the bug bites on it.

Insect repellent sprays, however, do not do a very good job on a bamboo trellis. If you plan to use one of these, be sure to follow the instructions closely, especially if you're not an experienced gardener.
